Material and Alloy Selection
High-chromium or alloyed cast iron is preferred in areas of intense wear, while ductile iron and steel casting solutions are applied to parts dominated by impact and thermal loads. The alloy composition is determined according to the part’s operating conditions and verified by spectral analysis in every heat.
